    1. Wore black?

Right now :-) Sitting in the computer lab after a day of rugby, I’m not looking so glamorous in sweats and a black thermal longsleve.

    2. Wore colors?

My favorite shirt in the whole world is a bright red flannel, so it’s not surprising that the answer to this question is yesterday

    3. Wore something because it “matched”?

I don’t ever think about matching, more about comfort!

    4. Dressed up for a job?

Ummmm… not since my days as an office assistant last summer. The best part was that I didn’t have to dress up, I just wanted to!

    5. Dressed down for a job?

Every day that I go to work as a technology mentor

    6. Borrowed from a friend’s closet?

Not in my recent memory. Oh, that’s a lie. I still have Saskia’s bright yellow stockings from that time I was a turkey.

    7. Wore something gender-neutral?

Most days you see me in skinny jeans and a t-shirt or button down. Sounds pretty gender-neutral to me!

    8. Decided to boycott clothes for an entire day?

I decide that every morning when I don’t want to get dressed :-) Sadly, however, my school is not “clothing optional,” as many people claim it is. I do, however, go skinny dipping as often as possible, and after most rugby games go get lunch in just a sports bra and sweatpants.

    9. Dressed out of your comfort zone?

Vegas Night, one week ago. Mini skirt and gold sparkly stockings – a fun night indeed!

    10. Wore something that you really, really loved?

That flannel shirt – I can’t get enough of it! But also my favorite skirt outfit – floral skirt, black tank, and a over-sized mens button down tied at my waist.

I originally intended the questions as jumping off points just to get you thinking about your style habits, but it’s great that you actually took time to go through them!

Your Vegas getup sounds so fun- out of your usual comfort zone indeed! I wonder what the intersection of the two would be? Gold sparkly stockings and a button down? ;)

Also, comfort dressing post coming soon! Thanks for the reminder!

Ahaha I wear black every day!

I haven’t thought about my style in a while (gee, that rhymes!). My day job requires that I wear black all day every day, and I am not a head-to-toe in black girl in any sense. Oh, well.

I try to wear clothes that I at least like a lot, but you are definitely making me think more about seeking out that piece that I really love!

    1. Wore black?
Today. I love wearing black; it might be a problem.

    2. Wore colors?
    I wore yellow on Friday.

    3. Wore something because it “matched”?
Right now: red plaid flannel pants and a red tee shirt. That’s weird….

    4. Dressed up for a job?
Today. It’s actually a volunteer position, but I dress up for it Monday through Wednesday. Heels, pencil skirts, the whole nine.

    5. Dressed down for a job?
Thursdays and Fridays. My actual job has the most lax dress code ever.

    6. Borrowed from a friend’s closet?
Ooh, it’s been a looong time. I try to raid my mother’s closet every time I go down to visit her though. And I keep trying to steal my husband’s shirts, but he’s just too tall.

    7. Wore something gender-neutral?
Hm, do jeans count? If so, Saturday.

    8. Decided to boycott clothes for an entire day?
    I can’t even remember.

    9. Dressed out of your comfort zone?
Last week, I believe. If you don’t try something new, you don’t learn, right?

    10. Wore something that you really, really loved?
Today: it’s an old wrap dress that I will always love, not only for its versatility and ease, but also because of all the memories associated with it. I’ve worn that dress on three continents and it reminds me of all my travels and adventures.
