Crazy Things Come In Sevens

30 Day Challenge, Week Two! (Missed the first restyled batch?) Seven ridiculous outfits for seven ridiculous days of training and escapades. Hope you find something intriguing below!

Day Six

Fulfilling my orchid craving! | Collared button-up worn without sleeves (just hung it around my neck).

Day Seven

Another theme day! Meet my twin, the gorgeous Eury. She was a trooper & together we masterminded duplicating from my limited wardrobe! | Tank worn inside-out underneath skirt worn as top.

Day Eight

Crazy makeup day…do you see the blue swirls? | Dress folded partway down over tank.

Day Nine

You know you have an amazing photographer when she scouts out the most kickass locations for outfit photos, without being asked! Thanks, Kara :D | Collared button-up over ruffled dress, funky accessories.

Day Ten

Staircase shoot! | Striped skirt worn as shirt, belted with leggings (very consciously testing the no-pants look, haha).

Day Eleven

Long day! Tired but happy. Shirt worn as skirt, leggings, new blazer! over shirt.

Day Twelve

My crazy room. Recognize the orchid from the first photo? Why it insists on residing over my head, I have no idea…| Skirt worn over dress, hoodie zipped up partway in the back instead of front.

…What a week! This challenge is running a lot smoother than I’d anticipated, partly I think because so many of my friends on staff have been taking note & nudging me on (any RA’s reading this- holla!) Not to mention the support on here- thank you! I’m feeling amped on creativity & ready for week three.

What do you guys think? Hit me with your feedback!

I love the use of items as other things, i.e. shirt as skirt, inside out tank top. It’s very ingenious and you pull it off well!

Thanks for the encouragement, Fajr! Glad the restyling is resonating with you- do let me know if you try any of it out yourself!

:) it’s Lauren Ralph Lauren, I believe. I fell in love with it at first sight (you can’t see, but it has a bright magenta lining!) but it was ridiculously priced so I left it alone…then my mom found it for about 80% off at Lord & Taylor’s right before I left for RISD. Yay!

Thank you my lovely! Isn’t that mirror RAVISHING? I feel like I know a number of people who would own it in a heartbeat…and it’s in a painting studio, believe it or not.

Wow, totally awesome design for the site, Tessa. It reinforces exactly what you’re writing about – being vibrant. Cool ideas with the clothing, too. Originality is definitely not something you lack.

  • http://arkarsenal.com Hey!

Oh man, just figured out that the Name box does not mean that it’s the title of the comment. For the record, I do wish my name was Hey!

Hey Mark! (Haha). Thanks for stopping by, and I’m so glad you like the site design! My dream is to splurge for something like Chris’s, but till then, this fancied-up wordpress theme will work :D you have a pretty snazzy website yourself; I can’t wait to go through it and listen to your music!
